Text: Phil4:4 - Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
Hab 3:18-19 - Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. 19 The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills.
When God makes a promise to us or we read a scripture like the one above, it is meant to make us rejoice. Our Lord Jesus said, Whatever you ask the Father in my name, I will do so that your joy might be full. The Lord wants our joy to be full. Psalm 126:1 – When the Lord turned again our captivity, we were like those that dream. It says the Lord filled our mouth with laughter and our tongue with singing. God wants us to be joyful as his children. The bible says Happy is the people whose God is the Lord. If Jesus is your Lord, you are entitled to happiness. The one that wants to cause sorrow is Satan.
If you see a situation in your life that is causing a lot of concern, it is because Satan has come to tamper with your joy in that area, and you need to cast that Devil out of your life and drive the promises of God down into your life. You must rejoice. If Satan wants to weaken you, He steals your joy. We as Christians must constantly make the decision to always rejoice, not because of the situation that we face, but because of the God that we have. “They that know their God shall be strong and do exploits.” – Daniel 11:32. That means they have joy, because you cannot be strong unless you have joy.
When a 'giant' situation faces you, do not run to God to tell him how big that problem is, instead tell the problem how big your God is.
So decide today to have joy( because you are entitled to it), and be strong in HIM.
Have a wonderful day.
